About 8.15AM on Thursday 27/07/2017 a red HYUNDAI was stopped along side a burgundy Kia 4wd at a red traffic control light on Picton Road near the Hume HWY off ramp. A truck approached the intersection and did not stop. The truck scrapped along the passengers side of the Kia ramming into the rear of the Hyundai. The rear drivers side of the Hyundai was crushed and the car was pushed into the guard rail. The truck continued through the intersection before accelerating away, allegedly not attempting to stop to render aid to any person. The driver of the Hyundai was hospitalized as a result of the incident and the driver of the Kia was badly shaken. Police would like to speak to the driver of the truck or any person who may know the truck or it's driver. Any person with dashcam that may have been in the area is asked to view their footage and if they have anything matching the description to contact Police. The truck is described as a white, Western Star truck with quad dog trailer with alloy buckets with a torn tarp on top.
