Drivers travelling through north-west Queensland will need to be extra vigilant now as police have fielded the Vitronic Poliscan laser speed camera.

This new camera has the ability to check the speed of a number of cars and over several lanes at once.  The Poliscan laser speed camera is less prone to speed reading errors so it can be used on more roads than the old camera.

This means a lot more QLD drivers will get caught if they go over the speed limit.

To safeguard drivers an undetectable laser detector like the Escort Redline or the Beltronics XRC Ultimate can be used to greatly reduce the chances of speeding and receiving a speeding fine.
