RECALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Recalibration must be undertaken with 0%BAC.)
1. Press and hold the CAL button under LCD. Release the button when “C-A-L-1” appears. The numeral on the display counts down 5 to 1 with “WAIT”
flashing on the screen, then 0 & “BLOW” appears.
2. When 0 appears with “CAL” and “BLOW” on lower left corner, blow into the Safe Mate for 3-4 seconds until it beeps. Next “C-A-L-2” appears and the Safe Mate starts the countdown from 9 this time. Again 0 & “BLOW” will appear.

When 0 appears with “CAL” and “BLOW” on lower left corner, blow into the Safe Mate for 3-4 seconds. This sets the calibration for alcoholic breath testing.
